Message From The Family

Thank you for your support during this difficult time. Please enhance this tribute to Margaret by adding your memories and photos.

WORCESTER- Margaret "Taunte" Zuckerman, 73, passed away suddenly on May 21, 2018 at UMass Medical Center following a brief illness.

She was born in Southbridge and graduated from Southbridge High School in 1962. Ms. Zuckerman worked for two decades in accounting at Morgan Construction Company in Worcester and later an executive secretary for Clarient Corporation in Holden.

Survived her sister Cathy Precanico and many cousins of San Diego. Her nieces, Christine Langevin of Los Angeles, Ca and Shelby Langevin and her children Benjamin & Jenna Gormley of Woodstock CT. She also leaves behind many friends that will miss her dearly and her beloved four legged companion "Ms. Pasty Dog".

Peggy, our cheerleader, loved celebrating in the life of her family and friends. Especially in the accomplishments of Ben & Jenna. A passion for spending time outdoors, walking her dog and brightening the day of whoever crossed in her path.

Forever dancing in the sunrise, a radiant light that shines upon us all and her abundance of unconditional love will be carried in our hearts forever.

A special Thank You to the " A- List" medical team at Umass Hospital for your extraordinary care and support.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of Callahan, Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester.

A Life Celebration will be announced at a future date. Please continue to refer to this website as updates will be posted as they become available.

Dearest Peg, in the immortal words of Pooh Bear "We did not realise that we were making memories, we just knew we were having fun." Every moment with you was fun. Your life is a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.

Peg was my kid sister and I loved her to death. We spoke on the phone every Saturday for the past 27 years. Our own way to keep in touch. I missed talking to her last week-end but I know she heard me from the Heaven above. I miss you Peg, soooooo much. Kisses Cathy

Dear Peg- Over 40 yrs ago we met &, when we discovered we shared a birthday,we became roomies & fast friends. We continued to be sisters-by-choice thru every phase of each others lives, sharing so much more & loving each other as our families co-mingled thru the years into one crazy, yet amazing clan. Your kindness & love for everyone was always unconditional, supportive & true. Your goal always being to help spread happiness & bring people together, even if you had to kick some tushy now & then. Those twinkling eyes & deep dimpled smiles melted every heart! It seems impossible that you have moved to the next phase without me. You were the puzzle piece to so many that made our life pictures complete. But I know you're really still with us all,and I will love & remember you always...especially when I rock a baby, help anyone, feed the birds, work a garden, or eat chili or strawberry shortcake. We will all miss you, but strive to make you proud by paying forward all the love & support you so generously gave to us. A more kind or gentle soul has never passed my way, and I know God smiles when thinking of you, as we all do. God Bless You Marg!!, until we meet again...xoxo With Love from Merry (Mare) & Chris, Drew & Dan (your boys) & families

I only got to know Peggy in the last few years in the Morgan Ladies Luncheon group. She was unfailingly kind with a wonderful sense of humor. I will miss her so much. My deepest sympathy to her family and many friends. Peggy, may you rest in peace and may the perpetual light shine upon you.

Peg was our neighbor for 13 years. She was remarkably kind, had a big heart and an infectious laugh. Her generosity to my kids, and positive outlook will not be forgotten. Our deepest condolences to her friends and family.

You and I had a sixty year friendship. We never fought, always supported each other and had our private jokes. I've lost you for a time and the only comfort I have is I will see you again soon. As you were always quick to remind me I was two weeks older than you. My sense of loss is crippling. All the history we kept for each other, our adventures, the many shared fun times, the crises we've helped each other through. Knowing no matter what was happening I knew there was you, a level headed kind person who would always be there. So little of my life didn't have you in it. I'm lost and heartbroken. I know where you are and can picture you doing all the things that made you happy. You so richly deserve it. Save a seat Margaret Louise !!!

My dearest friend Peggy... We have been through so much together over the years. You were always
the one I could turn to. My heart is broken knowing we will never be able to have our long conversations or spend special times together again. You will always live on in my heart forever.
Love you and miss you. "Jan"
