HOLDEN-Nancy Marie (Cronin) Davis, 82, died Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the Jewish Healthcare Center in Worcester.

She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. John W. Davis, Jr., on February 3, 2016 and their daughter, Erin Anne Davis, on June 27, 2016. Nancy is survived by her son, John Patrick Davis, and her daughter, Christine L. Davis, a brother-in-law, Neil S. Davis and his wife Katherine, a niece and three nephews. She was also predeceased by her sister, Christine Mullaney, a niece and two nephews.

Nancy was born in Worcester, daughter of Francis and Mabel (McGurl) Cronin and graduated from North High School. She graduated from St. Vincent Hospital School of Nursing with her nursing diploma and nurse anesthesia certificate, Clark University with a BS, cum laude, and MHA, and Anna Maria College with her MSN, summa cum laude. Nancy held staff anesthetist positions in New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Maine while her husband completed professional school and military commitments.
