Obituary

WORCESTER – Elaine A. (Dion) Eannuzzo, 63, loving wife and sister passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, July 8, 2018.
She will be forever loved and missed by her loving husband of 18 years, Michael J. Eannuzzo; her two sisters, Mary A. Ross of and her husband, Gus of Worcester and Geojan A. Dion, all of Worcester; her two step children, Melissa Ann Eannuzzo of Waltham and David M. Eannuzzo of Leominster; and her nephew, Brain J. Farrow, Jr. She was born and raised in Worcester, a daughter of the late George E. and Janet E. (Pierce) Dion. She graduated from David Hale Fanning Trade School in 1972. She excelled in clothing and fashion designing, which led a career that spanned several decades in the retail clothing field, working for many years at the former Wallach's at the former Worcester Center Galleria, Milton's and most recently with Joseph A. Bank of Northborough. Her talents and hobbies were abundant. Elaine loved country music, and form nay years assisted her husband with his disc jockeying business, often teaching line dancing during events. She also was a longtime member of a local country dance group, the former Country Kickers, who performed throughout the area. A former ski instructor at Wachusett Mountain in the 1980's, Elaine will also be remembered for her decorating abilities at home during the Christmas holiday season. Every nook and cranny was carefully planned and the displays will be very hard to duplicate in her absence. Elaine loved to travel with Mike and her sisters. She enjoyed visiting Aruba, as well as many of the local New England beaches. Elaine always dreamed she was a Disney Princess. Her love of anything related to Walt Disney began with the Mickey Mouse Club while a child. She was an avid collector of anything Disney related, especially when it came to her favorite princess, Ariel.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Elaine's family on Sunday, July 15th from 3-5 p.m. at the CALLAHAN, FAY & CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester. Her funeral will be held on Monday from the funeral home with a funeral Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. John's Church, 40 Temple St., Worcester. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester.
